A Black Diamond 'PWR' Stage 1 Organic Clutch Kit is recommended for fast road applications with up to 20% increase in torque above standard, whilst maintaining smooth clutch engagement and consistent performance from low to high temperatures.

The clutch disc is constructed from spiral woven glass fibre with a heavy copper core. This combination of soft glass fibre with the heat-dissipating characteristics and strength of copper creates a hard-wearing robust friction compound suited to even higher operating temperatures than glass fibre alone. This give the clutch plate a longer life application, a consistently smooth clutch engagement, Improved burst strength (approximately 9000 rpm) and requires a minimal breaking in period.

The introduction of Black Diamond's stronger clutch springs creates a stage 1 clutch kit which generates higher clamping forces that translates into a more instant response and a reduction in unwanted clutch slippage.
